そして今年のお正月に我が家でSpencerから完成品を手渡されたのが本アルバム。
めでたくグラミー賞にノミネートされるという快挙を遂げた。

Workshop dates: 2023/10/25 – 30
フランス・ピレネー山脈地で開催される5日間の滞在型ワークショップCAMPに、Visible Cloaksとともに参加します。
このワークショップでは、Visible Cloaksを現地に招き、尾島由郎は日本からビデオ通話で参加し、「自己を超えて」作曲し、音づくりにアプローチするための創造的な戦略の数々を取り上げ、その歴史的背景と未来への可能性の両方を紹介します。
Yoshio Ojima will participate with Visible Cloaks in a 5-day residency workshop called “CAMP” in the French Pyrenees.
Visible Cloaks will be on site and Yoshio Ojima will participate via videoconference from Japan to present a number of creative strategies for composing “beyond the self” and approaching sound production, both for its historical context and for its future possibilities.

細部までデザインの配慮された館に音楽を添えるのは最高の贅沢、腕を振るいました。

I created environmental music for the Ureshino Yadoya, a ryokan (Japanese inn) based on the concept of hot springs and tea, to be opened by JR Kyushu in Ureshino-cho, Ureshino-shi, Saga Prefecture.
It’s a surpreme opportunity to add music to a building that has been carefully designed down to the smallest detail, so I showed my ability.
I hope you will visit this luxurious inn, which will open on October 1, 2023, when you travel to Kyushu.
